Web 2.0 in simple words

If I will have to introduce the concept of Web 2.0 to someone new to it, I will have to use my own words to define it as:

 “Web 2.0 are websites using online technologies to share, publish, or communicate information which may be in texts, images, sounds, and/or audio-visuals.”
